Overview

One of the high altitude mountain passes in the Indian Himalayan region and located at an elevation of 5,495 meters, Sin La in the Kumaon Himalaya in Pithoragarh district of Uttarakhand is an incredible trekking destination that haunts travellers. The routes are exciting and gives exposure to the cultures and traditions of people living in Chaudans, Byans and Darma valleys. Pass through blooming meadows, small rivulets and some quaint villages. This all together is a delight for trekkers. Sin La was an ancient trade route to Tibet. One can enjoy and capture in his frame the magnificent sight of the Adi Kailash Peak that stands at a height of 6,191 meters. Sin La Trek, which is one of the moderate to challenging treks in the Kumaon Himalaya region, starts From Jolinkong a steep climb heads to Parvati Lake and then up at Sin La. From Sin La the downhill trek follows to Bedang, which is approximately.

Mt. Adi Kailash & OM Parvat Overland Yatra Via Dharchula : Takes you to the holy land of Uttarakhand (Dev Bhoomi), through the newly opened road Dharchula – Tawaghat – Ghatiabagarh – Lipulekh pass – Tibet/ China border

DAY 01
Arrive DELHI drive to KATHGODAM ( 6hr,drive). Overnight stay.

 

DAY 02
KATHGODAM - PITHORAGARH (1645mt), (7hr,drive). Overnight stay.

Via in route– (JAGESHWAR TEMPLE & KAINCHI DHAM ASHRAM BABA NEEM KAROL)
Pithoragarh is the eastern hill district of Uttarakhand. Neighbouring Tibet in the north and Nepal. A place of exquisite natural beauty ajnd serenity Pithoragarh is popularly known as the ‘little kashmir’ this captivating town with fascinating forest around it is located at an impressive height of 1645mts. Nestled in a small valley. From here pilgrims take their journey to the Holy shrines Kailash Manbasarover yatra and Adi Kailash Yatra.

DAY 03
PITHORAGARH - DHARCHULA - GUNJI (3500mt) (7hr,drive). Overnight Stay.

Cross the bridge over the Dhauli and see the confluence of the Kali and Dhauli, travel along the kali river There are numerous springs and waterfalls on either side of river, On reaching Chhialekh the group enters the region Byas Valley. Then comes Garbhiang village, here the Kali meets the Tinkar coming from Nepal

GUNJI - OM PARVAT (3987mt/) - GUNJI / KUTI (3hr,drive). Overnight stay.

There are pine, bhojpatra forest in this region surrounded by innumerable wild flowers, this is the region of Deer, Monal and the highest stage of Himalayan wilderness. The OM Parvat’ smiles in front of the pilgrim

GUNJI - JOLINGKONG (ADI KAILASH) (4280mt) ( 2hr,drive). Rest at Jolingkong. Overnight Stay

JOLINGKONG – PARWATI SAROVAR- GAURI KUND - JOLINGKONG 6km,trek Overnight Stay.

From Gunji walk along the banks of the river Kuti to reach Nabi, Which has a temple and almost hidden spring in the beautiful mountain standing behind the village. Drive first to the left Kuti and then to the right to reach Jolingkong. (ADI KAILASH)

JOLINGKONG via SINLA PASS (5495mt) - BEDANG Village full day trek. Overnight stay Bejdang

DAY 02
KATHGODAM to PITHORAGARH (1645mt), (7hr Drive) Overnight stay PITHORAGARH VIA in route– (JAGESHWAR TEMPLE / KAIINCHI DHAM ASHRAM )

Jageshwar temples is located at a height of 1870 meter. The Main temple of Shiva is covered by 124 small ancient temples of different gods. According to Skandha Purana and Linga Purana the workship of lord Shiva was started from Jageshwar and 8th Shiva Jyotirlinga was originated here. It is beleived that Adi Sankaracharya visited Jageshwar Dham and renovated, re established many temples before leaving for Kedarnath Dham.

(KAINCHI DHAM ASHRAM BABA NEEM KAROLI )

Kainchi Dham is a beautiful ashram on the Nainital-Almora road offering a spiritual stopover in the lap of nature. This pilgrimage centre was established by Neem Karoli Baba, a saint of the early sixties. Along with Shri Poornanand of the Kainchi Village, Maharaj Neem Karoli built a temple dedicated to Hanuman

PITHORAGARH – DHARCHULA – GUNJI (3500mt), (7hr Drive). Overnight Stay at Gunji

There are numerous springs and waterfalls on either side of the river, On reaching Chhialekh the group enters the region of Byans Valley. The pasture of chhialekh is strewn with grasses and flowers.Then comes Garbhiang village deserted because of geopolitical and geological reasons, here the Kali meets the Tinkar coming from Nepal.

GUNJI– JOLINGKONG (ADI KAILASH) (4280mt ) GUNJI (6hr,Drive) Overnight Stay GUNJI

Enshrined in mystery and mythology, Patal Bhuvaneshwar is the hidden pilgrimage centre.The famous Shaktipeeth. this highly revered shrine is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The sub- terranean shrine of Lord Shiva is situated with sprawling interiors Inside the cave, the limestone formations have taken shape of many Gods and Goddess of Hindu pantheon. The forms of Ganesha, Shesh Nag, Garurh, Shivling etc. are distinctly visible to the believers.
