Valid government ID (Aadhar Card), passport-size photos, medical fitness certificate are usually mandatory.
Generally, Indian citizens aged 10–80 with good physical fitness and no serious heart or respiratory illness can undertake the yatra after medical clearance.
Temperatures range from 2°C to 15°C in season and can drop below freezing at night; sudden rain and strong winds are common.
Major highlights include Adi Kailash Darshan, Parvati Sarovar, Om Parvat, Kali River valley, Kainchi Temple, Jageshwar Dham, Patal Bhuwaneshwar and scenic Himalayan villages.
