Uttarakhand Tours and Travels shall not be responsible for any delay, cancellation, rejection, or additional expense caused by incorrect, incomplete, expired, or unavailable documents provided by the customer.
6. Health and Fitness Requirements
Certain tours, particularly high-altitude and physically demanding journeys, may require a reasonable level of physical fitness.
Customers are responsible for assessing their own physical suitability for the selected tour.
We recommend that customers consult a qualified medical professional before undertaking physically demanding or high-altitude travel.
Customers should inform us of any relevant health or medical requirements before booking.
7. Changes to the Itinerary
The itinerary provided for a tour may be changed, delayed, or modified due to weather conditions, road conditions, landslides, natural disasters, government restrictions, permit issues, security concerns, transportation problems, health or safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to provide alternative arrangements wherever possible, subject to availability.
8. Force Majeure
Uttarakhand Tours and Travels shall not be liable for any failure, delay, cancellation, or change in services caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, floods, landslides, earthquakes, war, civil unrest, government restrictions, epidemics, pandemics, road closures, strikes, transportation disruptions, security situations, or acts of government authorities.
In such circumstances, refunds or adjustments, if any, will be handled according to the applicable cancellation policy and the amount recoverable from relevant service providers.

Cancellation charges may apply depending on the date of cancellation, tour package selected, advance payments made, government permits and fees, hotel or transportation cancellation charges, and other costs already incurred on behalf of the customer.
The applicable cancellation and refund terms will be communicated during the booking process.
10. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Unless otherwise specified in the individual tour package or booking confirmation, the following standard cancellation terms may apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: A refund may be provided after deduction of applicable administrative, booking, permit, and service-provider cancellation charges.
- 15 to 30 days before departure: A partial refund may be provided after deduction of applicable cancellation charges.
- Less than 15 days before departure: The booking may be non-refundable or subject to substantial cancellation charges.
- No-show: No refund may be provided.
- After commencement of the tour: No refund may be provided for unused services due to personal reasons, early departure, or voluntary discontinuation of the tour.
The final refund amount will depend on the specific booking, services reserved, and amounts recoverable from third-party service providers.
11. Cancellation by the Company
Uttarakhand Tours and Travels reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify a tour due to government restrictions, weather conditions, safety concerns, natural disasters, road or route closures, permit-related issues, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If a tour is cancelled by us, we will communicate the available options to the customer.
Any refund, rescheduling, or adjustment will depend on the circumstances and the amount recoverable from third-party service providers.
12. Third-Party Service Providers
Certain services may be provided by independent third-party service providers, including hotels, transport operators, local guides, permit authorities, government agencies, and other travel service providers.
While we make reasonable efforts to work with reliable service providers, we are not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, delays, service quality, or operational failures of third-party providers beyond our reasonable control.
