Pithoragarh is the eastern hill district of Uttarakhand. Neighbouring Tibet in the north and Nepal. A place of exquisite natural beauty ajnd serenity Pithoragarh is popularly known as the ‘little kashmir’ this captivating town with fascinating forest around it is located at an impressive height of 1645mts. Nestled in a small valley. From here pilgrims take their journey to the Holy shrines Kailash Manbasarover yatra and Adi Kailash Yatra.
Cross the bridge over the roaring Dhauli and see the confluence of the Kali and Dhauli, travel along the kali river through dence forest. There are numerous springs and waterfalls on either side of the river, On reaching Chhialekh the group enters the region of Byans Valley. The pasture of chhialekh is strewn with grasses and flowers.Then comes Garbhiang village deserted because of geopolitical and geological reasons, here the Kali meets the Tinkar coming from Nepal.

From NAPALCHU walk along the banks of the river kuti to reach Nabi, Which has a temple and almost hidden spring in the beautiful mountain standing behind the village. Drive first to the left of Kuti and then to the right to reach Jolingkong. (ADI KAILASH)
